Call for Papers

We want you to speak at LibertyJS! Yes you!

LibertyJS is coming into it’s forth year and in order to make it the best year yet, we are looking for a diverse, inspiring, enlightening and entertaining crew of Speakers and Workshop Facilitators!

We will be accepting proposals until Wednesday, August 9th, at 11:59PM EST.

The conference will be held November 16 & 17 at the Chemical Heritage Foundation in Center City, Philadelphia.


Talks will be allocated 40 minutes. When planning your talk, if you would like to take questions, please factor this into the allotted 40 minutes.

We will be conducting our first round of proposals reviews in a blind fashion. Please refrain from disclosing personal details in your title, abstract and talk details!


We are also looking for workshop proposals. Workshops can be on any JS topic of your choosing, but some that we are looking for are:


If you’re selected to speak or run a workshop at the conference you will receive:

NOTE: If you are accepted as a speaker and have already purchased a ticket, we’ll refund it, 100%. So don’t wait, be sure you have a seat either way!

Unfortunately as LibertyJS is still a community run local conference with a limited budget and we will not be able to provide any reimbursements for travel or accomodations.
